my exhaust makes a loud pop/cracking noise

i just got my exhaust done and got true duals with a glasspack muffler. when the exhaust gets hot it makes a loud cracking noise like the sound of a aluminum flag pole makes if you hit it with something. the exhuast is only a week and a half old and idk if this is supposed to do this. ill turn my truck off and still 30 the sound will still exist until its cooled down. what is this? is it suppossed to do that? will it go away?? help

A crack/pop usually indicated a lean condition from what I've heard.

glasspacks make popping and crackling noises most of the time(especially without cats). do you have any cats on it? is it while decelerating? revving? accelerating?

lean= too much air or not enough fuel in the A/F mixture

when its shut off and it makes a popping noise is just the pipes cooling down. nothing to worry about at all. it does the same with every stock exhaust system that i've seen, its just more noticeable when its on both sides instead of just the passenger side.

Magnapacks are the only good glass-packs IMO.
