Here is what I know of the 10.25. Pre 1997 it was a full floater used on the F-250. In 1997 with the F250 HD it was still a full floating. 1999 Ford stopped using a 10.25 full Floating axle and switched to the 10.5 full floating and the Dana's on the SuperDuty. 1997+ it is used on the F-250 LD and F-150 7700# option and it is a semi floating axle.
