My truck started making an intermittent grinding type noise from the front. I pulled the wheels and disks on both sides. The wheel bearings and brake pads seem fine. Its hard to tell with a noise that stops and starts but spinning the hubs everything was quiet. Boots on the axels were good and seemed quiet when spinning too. Don't know if there is a usual trouble spot like the outer diff bearings or the input shaft bearing but the members here are always great at troubleshooting and passing their ideas along.
