i had mine wired to the battery with a fuse and they would cycle after i shut the truck off. Nothing wrong with that if you have a solid battery.... actually some benift of not letting the enigne heat soak as much on shut down. think of turbo tumers on turbo cars. you could go one step further and get an electric water pump that would run after engine is shut down as well. plus you would free up some more ponies,
