Has anyone ever painted chrome running boards or an aluminum toolbox. When I got my truck it had a bunch of ugly chrome on it (door handles, fender well covers, etc) and I took it all off, but I want get rid of the chrome on the running boards and toolbox. I would just take them off but my fiance likes them to get in my truck with. Any ideas and photos on how to prep things would be great. Thanks.
