I couldn't fit mine on properly, so I glued it on a little with some left over black silicon sealant I had for the fog lamp painting project. I only did it enough so I can heat it up with a hair dryier and remove it in the future for when I paint it and add an overlay. But yes, I glued it a little, and its holding well.
