97 F150 4.2 light engine miss, no trouble code or CEL..

I was wondering if you guys fixed your problem. I have a slight miss on my 4.2. Seems like it is intermittent. There are days is runs without a problem. However, if the truck sits for a weekend, I go to start it, it has a definite hard miss for about a half a mile and then you can feel the cylinder "kick" in, then sometimes it is OK. However, it does seem like it will happen only at very light acceleration. If I pound on the gas pedal, it does not tend to miss. I did the standards, plugs, wires, coil, fuel filter. Funny thing is NO CHECK engine light or trouble code at all. Even passed a full NJ inspection no problems. The issue is more irritating than troublesome to me. I have poured a few "quarts" of injector cleaner hoping that it would cure the problem. There have been days that I have driven that it would not occur. I have check the posts about DPFE sensor (hope I spelled it right), knock sensor, coolant sensor, etc. As my Home Depot runner (and not my daily transportation), I have 122K and otherwise the truck is perfect. Should I just live with this (again, only irratating), or nickel and dime the sensors to death.... OR, can I assume that one of the injectors is going bad? Also, I noticed small oil wetness coming somewhere around the knock sensor itself: I unplugged it for a day: no difference (not better, not worst) and no CEL or trouble code. Again I am just ready to live with it unless someone else experienced this and had a CONCRETE fix. Let me know if anyone has any luck out there with a similar issue.
