This is really not "new' technology. Turbo's have been used in European countrys for years as well as many racing applications. It is a proven design of which Ford is applying the latest technological advancements for American drivers. This is really great news for Ford and consumers. Smaller engines with great power to weight ratios and vastly improved fuel economy. The reliability and durability will be there you can bet on it.
