Unhappy Help Needed - Spilled Paint on Line-X - How do I remove?

Today I had a trash bag with fresh paint leak and spill paint into my Line-X treated truck bed. Unfortunately, I didn't catch it until it was too late and now the paint is smeared and has dried. I tried to clean it immediately with both water and mineral spirits, but had little luck. With the textured finish of the bedliner it seems impossible to get the paint off.

The bedliner is treated with Line-X XTRA. Does anyone have any suggestions or know how to remove the paint without damaging the Line-X treatment?

I'll contact LINE-X's DuPont rep and ask him. One question: Is it oil based paint?

I'm not sure, but likely it is oil-based. I was hauling trash that had been set out behind our town's public pool. I think it was the paint they were using to re-paint the sides and bottom of the pool. As such, they were probably using oil-based.

Sorry for the delay, I've been away from a computer for a couple of days.

Try lacquer thinner. However, it's possible that after you get the paint off, you may need to have a coating of Xtra reapplied.
