Anyone install Edelbrock IAS Shocks on a crew
I am thinking of installing a set of new shocks on my Crew. I wanted to get some opinions of some members who have upgraded theirs.
I had a set of IAS on my extended cab and was impressed with their performace. I just wonder how well they would control this big beast?
I am not impressed with the standard Off-Road shocks. They seem to bounce a little more then I would care for and don't absorb the bumps like they should.

I have had them for several months. Tha combination of Edelbrocks plus correct (read 38 pds) tire pressure made the handling dramatically better. I was thinking of a rear anti sway bar but after I replaced the shocks I don't see the need for the bar. As for the ride it is as advertised, not harsh for the road and good on the corners. Off road I have used them for dirt tracks and some rock crawling and they seem better than the original equipment. I highly recommend them, especially if you can catch one of the occasional 4 for 3 sales that happen from time to time.
I have them as well. I like them a lot. I could post the very same thing as docker, was considering the sway etc., but the edelbrocks have removed any need to do so. They provide better control, less sway, less bounce, and more damping. They are firmer than stock though. That's good though. I think any high end aftermarket shock you would like, but these are very good indeed. I spent enough time trying to make up my mind but I'm glad I got these. So will you, I'm sure.
Price
I think anything around 70$ or less per shock would be good. They might still be having their 27$ beans off coupon. Check Edelbrock.com for coupon and shop around.
