That's fine - mine works exactly how I want it to - keeps everything I want underneath it dry, and when I have to haul anything large I can simply roll it up in seconds out of the way.

Just curious, if you ever have to haul anything large in the back of the bed, how fast/easy is it to remove your fiberglass bedcover/snugtop/non-sissy thing?
