I've been running Troyer fans on my truck here in the Northern Arizona desert for about a year and a half and have had zero cooling problems. They work as advertised. I did have one controller fail about 8 months after install and they promptly replaced it. I do have to put in my 2 cents here about a few things concerning the install. Troyer furnishes an electrical kit with switches, connectors, etc. I chose not to use the butt connectors because I believe that causes most of the meltdown issues due to poor connections. These fans pull alot of juice and a poor connection is not going to cut it. I soldered ALL connections and haven't had a bit of problems. Then use shrink tube over the soldered joints. Also, unless they changed them, the instructions tell you to put the temp probes near the inlet hose. I put mine in the top center of the radiator between the fans. I called Troyer and they said that's where they put them now. It keeps the fans from cycling too much. One more thing. The instructions say when setting the controllers with a point and shoot thermometer, to point it at the probe. They told me to now point it at the nearest radiator tube, not the fin. I think these fans are worth every dime and would highly recommend them. Good luck.
