Damn PawPaw, your tires look to stick out about as far as mine do, and i believe you have 35s with a 2.5 level kit. Do you get serious rubbing? my 35" tires stick out maybe a tiny tad more but I have a 6" lift and still rub sometimes on turns over bumps or ruts. Mine are MTs, but still...

i'm running 35s with a 2in as and aftermarket wheels with 5in of backspacing and i only get minor rubbing in the same situations. most of that is caused by my bad alignment though. after a new alignment and some minor trimming i should have almost no rubbing. its honestly one of the biggest things keeping me from getting a lift (money aside)

When I had my tires on my 9" wide wheels they rubbed a little on the lower wheelwells even after some trimming. I put them on some 8" wide wheels with stock 5 1/2" backspacing and no more rubbing, even when doing some light offroading. I almost went with a lift on it last year but it's too hard now for my wife to get in it now. As it is now she think's I'm in my second childhood with this truck! By the way your truck look's great lifted and with the BFG's on those wheels.

I've been a bit quiet on the truck forums lately. Working my tail off building my workshop. But still keeping up with my truck...

She's still on the Autospring 2.5" leveling kit, I get an occasional minor rub with those big *****... I also recently added a CST Xcal2 that came from a friend... I know this isn't the most popular tuner, but it works very well. Gas mileage and HP went up, reliability stayed the same... what else do I want?

Mind you, I went through a stack of make do cars until I got this truck, I keep getting asked if I am going to sell it. The answer is NO... I love my pickup. I plan on finishing the mods, buying my lovely bride whatever car she wants (assuming it is something reasonable and not a Bughatti Veryon or something insane like that) and then staying out of car payments as long as I can... Probably pick up a second hand Fusion as a get to work car down the road somewhere. For now driving the snot out of our Saturn...

For those that don't recall, my mods are...

Autospring 2.5" leveling kit.
K&N drop in filter. (I have heard there is an airbox mod for these trucks, would somebody be kind enough to point me to it?)
FX-4 H bar grille insert.
Hunter brush guard and nerf bars.
Pro Comp 1089 17x9" wheels.
Hercules Trail Digger 35x12.50/17
Pro Comp 130w Stainless Steel off road lights.
Delta Gullwing tool box.
Hi LIft jack, and winching kit.
102" whip, barrel spring, pro comm stud mount. Need to reinforce the toolbox for the 102", it's tweaking the top of the box...
Realistic TRC-465 40 Channel AM / SSB CB Radio (circa 1990), and power mic.
Curt receiver hitch.
SCT Xcalibrator 2 tunes.
MP3 modulator. (Plays MP3 from flash drive to FM frequency to play on stereo...)

Wanted mods:
Pro Comp 6" lift.
4:56 gears and limited slips both ends.
MileMarker Extreme brush guard / winch mount, and 12K lb Warn winch.
Improved CB Radio Mount.
Figure out a street legal way to do true dual system, Magnaflows, exit stock-ish location on either side, not cowboy pipes... I want power and efficiency with subtle tone...
EGR flares.
Leather seat conversion.
Telescoping trailer tow mirror with signal lights...

Add mine to the list (even though it's been sold)! Is Pueblo Gold the same as Arizona Beige?

Post up a pic of it you still have one! Yeah Pueblo Gold is close enough for Rock & Roll...

Az Beige, Pueblo Gold, and Dark Stone are some of my favorite colors on these trucks... Really hides the dirt...
