2009 4x2 5.4 Screw. I have the single CD AM/FM radio with Sync but no Sirius installed. The radio has the Sirius button.

Is it possible to do a complete behind the dash install of XM? Doesn't seem like there is any adapters for the 2009 Ford and XM Direct. Matter of fact, looks like the XM Direct might even be discontinued altogether?

I've had XM for many years and have a few different receivers subscribed. I'd like to stick with XM but don't want some portable receiver hanging off my dash or any external wires showing.

My last option is to just install the factory Sirius receiver and antenna. Anyone have experience with that on the 2009? If so, any details would be appreciated.

 

Since they are the same company, XM & Siruis have the same channel line up... just the station numbers are different.

Unfortunately that is not entirely the case.

They do not have the same channel lineup. For an additional $5 a month for each receiver, you can get a "Best of" package that adds a few premium channels from whichever service your receiver does not get. Also, as of last week, you cant just add a Sirius receiver onto my XM account and get the multi receiver subscription discount for it. I already have three XM receivers.

Oops dis 2008 instead of 09. I would think it's just a matter of time, the waiting game sucks but it always happens.

The issue with the old adapters seems to be with the Sync. I'm curious to open the dash and check out the 09' wiring harness when I have time.
