AVH-P4000DVD Start Up Time

Does anyone know if there is a lag time for the features to become available on the AVH-P4000DVD when the vehicle is started? I wanted to buy the AVIC-700BT for my 2008 SupCrew but every review mentions a 30-45 second lag time (even with the 2.0 update) to use once the vehicle is started. I know it's not that long but it would annoy me. Any info on the AVH-P4000 is appreciated...

No lag on mine. Once the truck get's going and the Ipod starts up your good to go.

you got any pics of your deck installed? my fits in the install kit with the top sitting further back than the bottom, if that makes any sense.

Sorry I'm justy now seeing your post.

The top of mine sits out away from the dash slighty, but the dash is tilted so that's a good thing in my book. The one thing that is sorta messed up is that it is kinda crooked leaving a larger gap on one side and not on the other.

Few seconds (maybe 10 at the worst...)
