iPOD Auxilary Input Question

I have a 2001 F150 with the factory CD receiver. I just bought an AXXESS iPOD Auxilary Input (AIP-FD20-ID) and hooked everything up right. I made sure that the + and - power is hooked up and the other plug goes into the CD Changer slot. Now, on the back of the receiver is two plugs. The one is the main power and the other, I am guessing, is the CD changer slot. The instructions say that this input device uses the CD changer slot. However, I do not know how to access the CD changer option on my stereo. My truck did not come with the manual either so I can't look it up. So I guess my question is, how do I access the CD changer option?

I have no AUX button. Unless there is something wrong with the device, I don't know.

So since I do not see any CD Changer controls, I am assuming that I cannot use this item with this stereo. Any suggestions for places that sell a Ford stereo with the CD changer controls?

but double check before going to buy another unit. im not familiar with the device you purchased.

It says that it is supposed to replace your CD Changer and the plug fits fine into the slot. I was thinking about having Best Buy take a look at it and maybe they can figure it out. I am usually pretty competent with electronics so this is baffling me.

before going to pay someone., just double check to see if your radio has the actual changer controls. maybe get a part number & call you local dealer. tell them that someone is selling the radio & your interested in purchasing it, but only if it has changer controls. then maybe someone there can tell you.

or take a pic of it & post it so we can see what you have.

hmm, not sure. looks similar to mine except a couple things different. i would definitely give a call to the local dealer with your part number to see if it has changer controls. here is what mine looks like.
