the 4.2 wont be in there for more than a year after the build. Then the new powerplant is going in. Cummins 4bt (i want to keep it light how often do you see a 4cyl diesel)

EXACTLY thats were the 5.13's will come in.
For the other questions,
why so high? For the future plans for the truck. Eventually it will be a trailered truck, when that time comes it will be on 54's but for now it will look nice on 40's then 44's then hopefully a set of 54's
I would go with a 54" Bogger now but i dont want that on the truck with a 4.2 ill wait till im diesel powered to go that big.
The 5.13's will roast the 40's even with the weak 4.2 i really dont think it will be a problem. Then the 4bt Cummins and 5.13's the truck will be a totally different beast.
The truck is going in the shop tomorrow and probably wont start disassembly till monday. How much i wanted to do this myself i dont have the time or space right now. So the shop will be doing some work when im not there then ill help when i can.
I almost went and picked up the front springs today after work but chickened out. The were 16" springs but set up to be 19" springs and that would be 22" of lift alone and it would be just too much for 40's.
I will also eventually be upgrading to a SCS transferr case and either building my current transmission or try to find something else that wont be to hard to work with the computer.
We are gonna be drawing up somethings tomorrow and ill let everyone know how it goes.
