Question Stock HP and Torque On A 1993 F-150 302?

Ok I just ordered a SuperChip for my truck which is totally stock and I was wondering if anyone knows what the horsepower and torque ratings on this truck are from the factory. I have heard anywhere from 180 to 200 on the HP and I have no idea on the torque so someone help me out! The weight would also be helpful if anyone knows

Here is the specs on the truck:

1993 FORD F-150
2WD, AOD (Auto), 5.0 (302)
Flare Side, 3.55 Rear

Thanks!

I believe its 190 HP. By '96 the horspower was up to around 205. Don't know why it went up. I don't know the torque. I've got the original brochure for my truck at home, and if I can remember, I'll look it up and post it.

Sorry, I struck out. The brochure doesn't give HP or torque ratings for the engines in '93. Doesn't give weight either, but I believe the State of Texas claims my truck weighs about 4000 lbs on the license renewal notice.

According to the Ford F-Series Pickup Owner's Bible, a 1994 5.0L had the following specs:

5sp Man. OD 205hp@4000rpm & 275ft-lb@3000rpm
4sp Auto OD 195hp@4000rpm & 270ft-lb@3000rpm

I'd expect our '93s to be similar.

Now I know why my dads 94 felt so slow the few times I have rode in it.

98,

Yeah the 5.4 can blow a 302 away, heck, the 4.6 can. But he probably can afford a new truck and the moment. The 302 was a good runner though.

Exactly I can't afford a new truck and if I had the money to buy a 2000 5.4 thats sure as heck NOT what I would spend my money on. I would never buy a new truck unless it was a Lightning. I'm into speed and 75% of trucks are slow. But I have this 93 F150 and I am trying to make it as fast as possible until I turn about 20 and can afford a car and the higher insurance that goes along with it

But for the 25+K a brand new 5.4 truck would go for I could buy tons of used CARS that I would like 50x better!

I believe the 93 engine specs are the same as for the 90 model which is 185 hp @ 3800 rpm and 270 lbs ft @ 2400 rpm.

In 1994 Ford increased the 'rated' power. I don't know if the engine was actually changed or not. Anyone know for sure?

That's a nice opinion that a 4.6 can blow a 5.0 liter away.

Question

Fordby: could you tell much of a power increase when you put that Throttle body on?
