Winter-blend fuel SUCKS! Ah... I feel better now.

Outside of that, Fords are notorious for getting slight detonation when the temperature drops below about 45º with a program that otherwise runs fine. I've had two or three customers that have needed to make a mile timing adjustment (-1 to -2 degrees) in order to get rid of a slight ping at cruise.

Setting back to zero adjustment and the seeing if higher octane fuel helps isn't a bad idea. Keep in mind that WHERE you buy your fuel is just as important as what octane you buy.
