If you are going to do an intake, just get a motorcraft or wix because the filter wont be able to be reused on the intake anyways...if you arent I'd go with the aem dryflow or k&n. Ive had k&n's on both my trucks, and my 4 wheeler, and I havent ever had a problem cleaning them 1x per year, just don't over oil.
