Thumbs up NEW 4x4 KR at my dealer

Hello i took some picts of the king ranch that has been at my dealer for a week now they didn't even know it was there a friend told me from ford.they also have an stx.the KR is amazing looking the pictures don't do it justice you have to see it in person and i think the rear end looks great as well as the front and the interior is very roomy and the back has a lot of leg room even with the seat down and tons of space didn't test drive yet my kid was with me.If it was a 4x2 i might have bought it this thing had every option that was available except the side bed steps. They also have new accessories available in their new catalog which has every configuration you can do to the truck they now have dvd players in the rear headrest available.Ask your dealer for the catalog this truck is one of the best ford has put out in years cant wait to get mine.I posted picts in my album don't know how to post here.

We have a KR here in Gatineau (Canada, Québec).

I don't like the new look, but the interior is nice, real nice.

But the price, 57 000$ CND, outch.

Nitrogen is better, it's not affected by temperature extremes like air is.

How do you prove there is actually nitrogen in there? Sounds like a bunch of hot air.

What temperature extremes? The 30-40 degree temp swings on the ground relate to nothing as far as tire pressures go. Now if I had an aircraft where there could be several hundred degree swings I would want the nitro.

Tire pressure increases/decreases by 1 psi for every 5 degree increase/decrease in temperature. A tire that has 35 psi at +30 C would drop to around 27 psi by -30 C. Going the other way, a tire set to 35 psi at -30 C would increase to about 47 psi when the temp climbed to +30 C. These are the kind of extremes I see where I live.

Do you mean the extreme temperature changes we have in Central Florida? Yeah, it changes maybe 10-15 degrees from night to day.

Read this link http://www.straightdope.com/columns/...instead-of-air

If it was free I would do it. The dealer price is ridiculous. For that price you could fill the tires with beer. Air has been used for over 100 years with no problems.

I was behind the wheel in one for about 25 miles -- and rode for another 20 miles -- the other day. It's a *very* nice vehicle... The air conditioned seats are wonderful.

The nitro filled tires made me laugh, I understand how it affects the whole temperature thing now, but thats still ridiculous.

99 bucks for nitrogen is a complete ripoff. Going price is anywhere from free to $10 a tire.
