SQ Sub shortlist

OK,

I've narrowed down my 10" sub shortlist to these:

1. IDQ 10v2 - $160
2. JL Audio 10W3v3 - $190
3. FI SSD10 - $180
4. RE Audio SR10 - $180

I'm running a JL Audio 250.1 in a single .75 CF sealed underseat box in a 2006 SCrew (unfortunately space was a priority). My priority is SQ over SPL, but both are important.

How do these compare to each other? Any experience with the the differences in these subs? Based on what I've read, the ID has the best SQ, while the others have greater SPL.

Also, is there a significant improvement in sound to drop another 50% of this cost to go to a IDQ10v3 or an SSA Icon 10...or are these overkill for my amp?

Any final thoughts/preferences/recommendations? THANK YOU!

The Image Dynamics ID10 is actually as good sounding, maybe a bit better, than the IDQ 10v2, with a very slight spl edge due to higher excursion. It can be had for about the same price as a IDQv2.

The IDQ 10v3 is a whole nother animal with a good bit more SPL.

The JL W3 series, at least to my ears, were more SPL based than SQ based.

With your amp and airspace I would do the ID10d4 v4.

If you are willing to fork over the cash, the IDQ v.3 would blow you away. Same SQ as the v.2 but with MUCH greater output.
