Sorry if this has been covered before but I could not find in by searching. What is the biggest size tire you can put on an 05 4x4 with no lift and not have it rub?

a 12.5" wide tire will fit...but I recommend a max of 12" wide to keep some distance between the tire sidewall and upper control arm.

whats the biggest you can go with a 2.5" leveling kit?

 

I would like a leveling kit on mine too. How much did it run getting it done? 33" tires are big enough for me but I like the way a truck looks better when it has been leveled.

 

Sams Club has the Wrangler MT/R for $1025 installed right now for the 285/70/17 in Hawaii. I imagine it's a bit cheaper on the Mainland

35/12.5/17 with 2.5" leveling kit. same thing as with the 33" tires. 12.5" wide will fit, but a 12" wide tire would be a better choice

 

Do you have any rubbing with the 305s? All you did was a leveling kit in order to fit them?

 

with 305's, that is a 12" wide tire. Unless you are running something like a Baja Claw, you'll be fine.

32"...maybe a 33" if you are brave and willing to have some rubbage.

yes, a 32" will fit a stock 4x2

the 2wd is 1" lower up front and 2" lower out back. so I suggest you get a 1" AAL or the OEM 4x4 block in addition to a leveling kit to clear some 34" tires
