'97 to present trucks, guaging interest in a STS turbo group buy

i was talking to Freddy at STS and he was wondering how many people would be interested in a group buy? for less than 10 trucks he's not sure if he can go more than 10% off but I'm sure the more on the wagon the lower the price will go.

with that being said I am just guaging interest, nothing is set up yet

please no flaming I am trying to get the price around $3500 as that seems fair to me for the F-150 kit.

this would be open to both new body styles and the '97-'03 body styles and superduty trucks too.

so basicly any ford truck from '97 to present (and I'm sure some older ones could jump in too if they want)

This is something I have started thinking about as well. I have a few questions...

1. Anyone know how the turbo itself does in dusty conditions and mud?

2. Would this be a universal kit or a bolt on kit?

3. What about tuning, fuel pump, MAF, Injectors, included in this price?

4. When you looking at for a deadline date like Christmas, Easter, Next summer some time?

For $3500 I am all over it. I won't pay more than that though.

everything would be included and it would be a bolt in kit...

I am talking to Freddy about using my '01 for his testbed if he'll do a group buy for everyone here.

if we can get 10-15 people to agree on a max price then I can approach Freddy with the proposition and price and have some numbers for him

When you say everything does that include some sort of pcm tuning as a base tune until I/We will be able to hit up the dyno?

If you are going sts I may be more interested in buying your procharger kit off you instead if you are willing to part with that

the kit is made for the '04 and newer trucks, there's a little tweaking that needs to be done for the '97-'03 body style trucks

lets get something worked with freddy so someone can get this "kit" and some numbers

Lets keep this up... we need more people willing to opt in. I am all over this kit if it is no more than $3500. Come on guys.. this could be a great deal.

I just got off the phone with Freddy.

5 or more trucks 100% complete kits (innercooler, injectors and tuning included) $4895.00

but of course if we can scrounge up 10-15 trucks the price can possibly come down. I wil not be purchacing a kit at this time but I will help negotiate prices and stuff for everybody on here.

right now possibles:

doitonall4s
Buck50
Gotts2BMe
stich
chris1450

nothing is set in stone but I've been pestering Freddy regularly and I'm in Germany.

Buck50 pm sent about your truck as a test bed

maybe I should ask him about the universal kit price as a group buy, but that would have no injectors, innercooler or blowoff valve

$4900 is not even close for a price that I would pay. $3500 if they sold enough would give them a nice profit. And we would have a good deal. F150 until recently was the best selling vehicle in the country. There is a huge market for it if they advertise and price right.
