ABS Light and Grinding noise
Sorry for the double post. I put this in the '97-'03 section but didn't get any hits on it so I guess it should be here instead?
Anyway, I'm getting the ABS light on and a grinding sort of noise (like a pump running dry) coming from the rectangular box fed by the master cylinder. Is this a traditional combination valve or do these trucks have EBD, I'm leaning towards the latter because the noise disappears when I disconnect the battery. If anyone has any thoughts on how to resolve this, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.
