yeah i am trying to see what it looks like and the BS i am gonna need to run it without body. but nice looking truck

 

to not need a body lift your backspacing will need to be the same as stock or very close to it not to rub at all if only using a 2.5" spacer.

for example , there are a few trucks on this site , running the my Moto's with my backspacing rolling on 35's, but i would say you would have to stick with a 12.5 width, b/c mine rub on the control arm at full lock, b/c i have too much backspacing.

Thats what the title says 35x 12.50 R20s. I know it can be done. I just want the guys that have done it to chime in and help me with some trim spots and BS question.

 

I am curious about this too because my lift didn't come in and now I have to wait a few paychecks before I'll be able to get a different one, However I have a beatiful set of 20 inch wheels, they have 5.25 BS and they are 9.5 inches wide (pro comp 7005s) And a new set of 35/ 12.50 cooper Stt's just taking space in my garage and also a 2.5 inch leveling kit sitting there too. Perhaps someone can chime in that knows more than I do... Can that work if I throw it all together? Wandell seems to know a lot. hint hint...lol thanks

 

That combo will fit if you combine the leveling kit with a 3 inch body lift.

 

I wish the guys that have this set up WITHOUT A BODY LIFT would chime in. Because i know it can be done. I Pm a couple of them but nobody has gotten back to me yet!

 

I can't body lift because I have a ranch hand aftermarket bumper. Which also makes it nice because I have so much more room under there, no valance to trim plus it tapers way before the stock bumper did in the wheel well,, almost 3 inches more room. Plus you are saying I have to have close to a stock BS on my aftermarket wheels and my BS is 5.25 and that is almost stock which is 5.5, only a quarter inch. It is however 2 inches wider...

I ordered it from a local shop PIne country tuck and trailers in Grand Junction. It was $900, pretty much the cheapest I could find around here. There were cheaper online but by the time you add shipping it all worked out about the same.

 

Let me know if you find anything out on this topic, I'm real curious. We're just not finding a whole lot of help on the board right now. lol. Towards the end of next week i'm going to through the leveling kit on and put my wheels and tires on to just see if it will work. I guess nothing hurts trying. I'll let you know afterwards what i find out. I won't have to trim anything because there is nothing there for me to trim. We'll see, I'm worried about turning... I may have to just drive straight. lol

 

Yeah i just got an email from hill2107 saying "I have a 2.5" Autospring leveling kit. The wheels are Moto Metal 951's 20x9 with 5.71 backspacing (+18) offset with 35x12.50-20 Toyo Open Country M/T. I had to do some tirmming to my front fenders on just plastic. I did not have to trim any metal or anything. As long as you find a 20x9 wheel with a 5.50 backspacing or higher you should be alright as long as you dont mind trimmin a little. If you go with more than 5.50 you will prolly rub the frame at full lock" i just sent him another email about the BS. but i also have seen another guy run this set up and have no problems.
