Cam's for 3V F150's? any experiences?
So, I know I should have done this when I built my motor, but I was already over budget. so now I am getting ready to do a Cam swap. does anybody have any experiences with either Crower, Comp, or Crane with the new F150's or know of some review articles or dyno results? I am looking at Stage 2, because i don't plan on installing a TQ converter til I blow the tranny, most come with converters anyways. Check out my Signature for current Mods. Not very knowledgable on duration and lift and what is best for me. Needless to say, i have a 98 Maxima that is my work car, so MPG isn't a concern, blowing up stock components to replace with better aftermarket ones are my priority.
HI!... Not hard. I made 354RWH.P and 392RWTQ N/A. Shooting for over 400RWH.P N/A on the next engine.
HI!... Go with COMP CAMS. Call them up and ask for the cam tech department. Tell them what you have and what you expect. They will suggest a "OFF THE SHELF" cam profile for you or you will have to have custom grinds done for your specific engine combo, like I did.
