This is what you are really gonna need to do. Pick up a Power Inverter that can run about 5-10 amps. (thats actually the important # on these). Wire it up just as you would an amplifier and go that way. If you have the know-how wire your inverter behind a relay.

87 - Wire FUSED 10-12ga power wire from battery
87a - N/A
86 - Positive to Ign wire (FUSED)
85 - Ground
30 - Wire to 12v+ on inverter.
