Hi
My truck is still a "lefty" as you put it. In fact all of my American vehicles have been left hand drive.
It's part of the fun of "living the American dream" over here, and it would not be right to drive an American vehicle with Right hand drive! I think many of us who drive American vehicles over here wish we could live in the USA! We come over to the US as much as we can- at least once a year, but we have been as many as 4 times in 18 months!
We tried to move over there in 1990 but even though my wife is a nurse we still could not get there!!?? So we have to make the most of it,and visit when we can, drive American vehicles, listen to country music, and drink American beer! We also have many relations and friends over there, so when we come over we are not the normal "tourist" type of visitor.
I am sure not everyone this side of the pond who drives American vehicles feels like us , but that's the way myself and my wife feel.
Cheers and thanks for the friendly welcome!
