Here's the deal. Of all the trucks I have done with the Clarion DUZ385SAT they have either had no Audiophile system or I have removed theirs for a new sub box and amplifier.
I actually have a question for someone here. Does the Audiophile radio set the low pass frequency for the Audiophile subwoofer or does the subwoofer enclosure and amp have the low pass crossover internally? In other words can I feed a full range frequency into the Audiophile sub assembly and it will play lowpass? Every time I work on a Audiophile vehicle I forget to test this.
On all the vehicles that I have put radios into with the Audiophile subwoofer they have been with receivers that have a subwoofer output on them. I don't think I have ever added one without it.
