nice hiding spot how did you remove the panel?

Not sure what the A/C issue was... but it was condition of our purchase.. it seemed to be a fan switch, and maybe some freon?? I can't remember exactly, but it was cold then... we just happened to catch that it wasn't right. It's fine though now.. blows ice cold!

I didn't exactly pull the panel per se... I removed door sill covers and ran the wires in as usual... power and remote down the driver's side, then the RCA's along the passenger side and then across the panel that hinges with the seats when they fold up and down... I ran the ground under the area that holds the jack, used the dremel to remove some paint and used a self-tapping screw...

The amp is so light, if you look closely you can see (click on the pic), I used plastic zip ties to hold it in that spot... I just popped the tray out and worked right there. The key was giving myself enough slack with the wires to connect and still be able to move it around.

I think that's the factory sub area, so there's tons of room. I could hide a bigger amp, or maybe even put 2 in the same spot... but for now I'm good.
