Block removal on fx2
Block removal on fx2
Can I remove the block in between the axle and spring on a 2007 FX2? I already have the GF shackles but still a little high in the rear. I have always been into jeeps and lifting instead of lowering. Will affect pinion angle?
The 4x4's have a 2" block. Some 07-up 4x2's have a 1" block.
If you remove the 1" block you may have to get longer u bolts.
ETA: I mean shorter u bolts. :o

There is a 1" block which also has a peice that comes off the side to catch the bump stop. I don't think it will hurt anything if I take it out.

Mine is a 2007 scab 6.5ft. bed for sure has a 1" block that is between the spring perch and spring. The block also has a extension off to the inside that the rubber bump stop would hit. Dont really plan on any baja jumping so dont figure it would hurt the bumpstop hitting the axle tube if would ever bottom out would it?
Kinda torn between taking it out any way because I plan on 2/3 from roush any way. All ready have GF drop shackles. I can make it a 2/3 or a 2/4 or even a 2/5 with that couldn't I?
