Well let's see, I don't know much about removal of the block but I've heard that you just take the weight off the rear suspension, loosen up the U-Bolts a bit and they should drop out. But you may have to get shorter U-Bolts, although I'm surprised your FX2 has blocks in it. A drive shaft hangar relocation kit isn't really necessary for something like a 2" drop with shackles in the rear but with me sitting at about 4" to 6" of drop (I can vary it with the rear airbags), a Hangar Kit was absolutely necessary. This is also partly due to the fact that I used a flip kit on my rear end. I'm not sure if that's the case for say a 4" suspension drop. There are a couple guys riding pretty low with suspension drops so maybe they can answer that one.

How much (in total) have you dropped it so far? And how much (again, in total) do you plan on having it lowered?

EDIT: Now that I read your post again, if you want it to sit exactly level you could look into buying 1/2" blocks to replace the 1" blocks there (if they exist?) to lower an additional 1/2" in the rear.
