Help with Sound Setting

ok i have an Alpine CDA-9883, and lost the settings that the install guy did when I had my amp and sub put in. So i need some help, i have read the manual but dont pretend to understand bass frequency and what not so here are my options if anyone cares to help and/or explain what each does.

Subwoofer: 0~ +15(i remember this being set around 9~10)
Bass Level: -7 ~ +7
Trebel Level: -7 ~ +7
Balance: (i can take care of this one)
Fader: R15 ~ F15 ( i know what this is but i'm sure someone has opinions, i have replaced the door speakers in front and back, no tweeter though)
Defeat: on/off
Bass Center Frequency: 80Hz, 100Hz, 200Hz, 60Hz
Bass Band Width: 1 ~ 4
Bass Level: -7 ~ +7 (this is different from the one above i think, at least they are accessed by pressing 2 different buttons.)
Treble Center Frequency: 10.0kHz, 12.5kHz, 15.0kHz, 17.5kHz
Treble Level: -7 ~ +7 (same note as bass level)
HPF: Off, 80Hz, 120Hz, 160Hz
Loudness: on/off

My music listening ranges from heavy metal, country, rap, and sometimes talk radio.

thanks for all the help!
