I installed a Tru-Flo intake on my KR the day I bought it. I took it off of my trade. I drive like I have some sense and I see 19 to 21 MPG all day. So maybe it was the intake which I already had or maybe its just the way I drive. Anywya the Tru-Flo in my opinion is the one to buy simply because it leaves the air filter where it belongs on top of the intake.
