Dude, You suck, you're not going to help me save any money!! I have to get the BL on my truck!! The only thing thats holding me back is miles, my truck has 120,000 miles on it...Would it be worth it??

I would need to spend about another 4k to get new wheels and tires, gears and BL and maybe install.

X2... if you plan on keeping your truck, it is worth every penny! the bl install isn't that bad, really. i've done two, and if you can turn a ratchet and operate a grinder/sawzall/drill, you'll be okay!

My truck has about the same mileage on it, and I said ******* it and did it anyway. The way I see it, with the way gas is, I don't see myself buying another truck anytime soon. I might as well build this one up and keep it forever as a toy.

So yes, I don't care what your mileage is, it's worth it.

edit: and shop around man. I'm a broke *** college student. Granted, I didn't go with 20s, so that saved me a good bit of cash. However, I've put very little money into this truck so far and made it go a long way. The wheels and tires I got for under $1000, the truck I bought with the Fabtech on it already. I already had the body lift from my other truck and installed it myself. I just found out I might know a guy who might be able to do my gears for parts + a case of beer, etc. Just shop around, ask a few favors, make that dollar stretch as far as possible.

Thanks for the measurements cashel here is the measurements on my truck

6"+3" with 35s
62.5" ground to top of bed
30" ground to bottom of door
81" ground to top of cab at the windshield

6"+3" with 38s cashel`s truck
Ground to top of bed: 64.5 inches
Ground to bottom of front door: 32.5 inches
Ground to top of windshield by driver door: 82.5 inches

So with 38s your truck is about 2.5" higher than mine with 35s, that`s a pretty big difference, you`ve convinced me I`ll have to get 38s one day man I can`t get over how freaking good your truck looks, I`m sure your real proud of it especially since you did the work it makes it all worthwhile when your finished.

Definitely can't wait to see your truck when it's done man.

Yeah I got these tires for a ridiculously good price. That deal is the reason i went with 38s. I was gonna stick with 35s and not do a body lift or gears. Then I found these tires, and couldn't pass up the chance.
