I just got done installing my Pioneer D3 into my 01 and was pretty simle. You have to cut out the plastic behind the trim about 1/4 " along the top. And then you have to cut out the back where the radio slips in as it won't go all the way in without it. I did this in about 1/2 hour no problem. I bought an install kit off ebay that came with a factory harness that plugs right into my system and the side pieces of the install kit just screwed into my radio. After that, plug all harnesses in and slide into the opening to the proper depth and thats it. I'll post pictures when I get them up.
