I have a 1992 Ford F-150 with the 300ci Straight-6. I have a few mods, such as a Summit 3" Exhaust and have the plans and parts for a Big, Forced Air Intake Box, and taking out the Clutch Fan and a replacement elec fan.

But I want to get serious with adding some Low end horsepower and torque, with spark. I was looking in the Summit catalog, and I was wondering my options as far as everything from the Distributor to the Coil, to the Wires and Plugs.

So my 2 questions are, has anyone put an aftermarket Ignition Coil, or Distributor into their 4.9 liter Ford F150, and what kind of results did you get? And my second question is, Does anyone know if it's even possible to take out the distributor and install an Electronic Ignition?
