Hey I know it's been covered, but I need some pictures. The window motor works, and the window will go up with help, but the gear slips on the regulator. In other words, if the window is at the top the motor will make the window jump due to the motor slipping the gear, and when the window is at the bottom the motor slips trying to get the window to lift.
So my question is, should I just look for a gear and at what store (Napa?) or since it is a 14 year old truck, just go get a new motor which I assume comes with a new gear?
Also what are the "dimples" that I need to drill out. I am gathering it's not the rivets? Thanks for your help.
