Custom Gauge Pod and Dash Trim

So I added a supercharger recently and I wanted to add a boost gauge w/o Losing the function of my pillar grab handle, so I came up with an Idea of a custom gauge location and pod I fiberglassed. While I was at it I also decided to give my dash a little bit of a custom "marble" look as well. What do you all think??

Not my thing, but either way, you did a great job on everything! Especially nice work on the custom gauge pod! The only thing that comes to mind though, is did you disconnect that vent from the system? I'd be worried about blowing hot air on the gauge with the heater for an amount of time...

yes, i blocked off the back of the gauge pod so No hot or cold air is on the gauge. but now the center vent blows harder which is nice.

yeah to be honest i didnt know if I was gonna be able to handle the heat w?o the vent there, but its been in the 80-90's here the past few weeks and my other vents cool down the truck just fine. So overall im happy with it.

Good move, better than possible failure later! BTW, the more I look at the pictures, the more the marbling grows on me!
