And the after pictures...this is the regular Line-X in black with the Xtra topcoat that is glossy and will stay that way!!

I got it done at Line-X of Austin, and everything was perfect, I highly recommend this shop.

What exactly does the Xtra give you that the regular Line-X doesn't? And how much Xtra does it usually run you?

The Xtra is a topcoat fortified with dupont kevlar that stays glossy and like new looking forever. The regular line-x will not fade, but the shine will go away and settle to a matt black color (or what some would call dark gray). The Xtra will stay as glossy as these pictures forever. Depending on the shop, I got quotes of $150-$160 extra for the Xtra coat.

When Line-X is colormatched, this Xtra layer is used so it doesn't fade at all.

x2..

I've had the Xtra colormatch for exactly 1 year now and it hasn't faded or lost that "shine". And while I'm not a landscaper or anything, I've tossed plenty of crap in the bed and never a scratch.

Bottom line, Line-X Xtra can't be beat!

Congrats on your new Xtra bedliner!

I had a customer come by my shop on Saturday with a black Xtra bedliner that is at LEAST two years old. (And, no, they do not have a tonneau cover.) It was dirty, but otherwise looked brand spanking new. I took some pics but I left my camara at home. So, I'll post tomorrow.

OK, here it is. This LINE-X Xtra bedliner is over two years old. The floor is dirty, but otherwise it's still black and sparkles like the day it was applied.

Hey, that looks sweet! How did they get the Texas shape in there, or did you do that? I am going to be putting a line-x linner in my bed as well as the x-tra coat for shine, that Texas would look great in mine.

I just had my bed sprayed with Line-X and what a difference it has made. Big improvement from the way it was before.

Anyone know of a company in Dallas that does these? I'd love to get mine done to match my paint.
