8# since my 4r70w is stock except a shift kit. i wanna let it live as long as possible lol. ya know i decided to do this because i wanted to watch the mud fly, or atleast churn around my tires a lil bit rather than watch the pedal go down without the tires moving.

simple question here. i think i may have bent my motor mount lol. the drivers side motor mount different from 4.6 W to a 5.4?
i got the passenger side to bolt up, so i merrily went to the driver side and the middle of it is hitting a bolt hole on the block.

yeah theres no bolt hole in the middle for it to hit and bolts back up. so im hoping theres a different mount and im not just looking at it retardedly... u spend a couple hours under that truck and you get lost when you stand up.
From the looks of the pictures you unbolted the mounts from the frame. The way to pull the engine is to unbolt the through bolt in the rubber that separates the mount into two parts and pull the engine. Are you trying to line things up with the mount dangling from the engine? Or worse the frame side bolted to the frame and laying limp and trying to set the engine down and line the engine up to the bolt holes? I would pull the bolt through the rubber, separate the mount halves and bolt the frame side to the frame, engine side to the engine and set it in that way.
