That's because it sits in a garage 98% of it's life and I had the underbody painted with regular car paint. The paint is made by DuPont and the name of the paint is Midnight Black Metallic C/C. Nothing like looking at the underbody when it's just as nice as the sheet metal. 
The dude who did it, only charged me $450... and he sanded the entire frame down, and all of the parts, etc... and then painted it. I think it took him a total of about 14 hours... but being he's a friend, he cut the labor out a lot. He's also the one who's gonna help me start learning to paint. Who knows, I might do side work for him one day if I get good. |
That's nice, I wish I had done that earlier on mine.
