I have read numerous (almost all) posts on here about wheels/tires and I've come to the point where I need to get rid of the stock 275.65.18 BFG Rugged Trails. I am leaning towards the Toyo AT but want to know my options as far as height/width etc with a stock suspended truck. Plus, the 2/2.5 kit, is it worth it for a daily driver that only sees off-road use during hunting season and when I take my quad to the dunes? Thanks in advance..

 

Stock you can easily fit 285/65-18's or 33x12.50-18's. If you add a leveling kit you can fit up to a 35x12.50-18 using the OEM wheels.

 

I have the leveling kit and its on my daily driver. It's really all up to you. Wandell pretty much summed it up. If you do go with the leveling kit remember to get it aligned or have funky tire wear and more issues.

The Toyos are a great tire I had them before I got my 35s

 

There are LOTS of daily drivers here with leveling kits and 33/35's. Go for it! You'll be surprised how much the leveling kit changes the look of your truck, even before you get new tires.

most guys are rubbing the autospring kit, its on ebay or go to www.autospringcorp.com super easy to install or if you want a better ride (from the posts i read) and about 4 times for expensive get the bilsteins shocks.

 

Personally I'd stay wit the stock 18" size and just buy a better tire. The Bridgestone A/T Revo is my recommendation, and the next one I'll do when my BF Goodrich tires wear out.

 

So you wouldn't go with the leveling kit?

 

No problems with my leveling kit in almost 3 yrs. Clear's 35's too!
