If it shifts and runs fine with a 130,000 miles and having no prior service I would drop the pan yourself replace the filter and gasket (it is easy sometimes messy but easy). Check for crap in the bottom of the pan. Some fine particles are normal. Then take it in to Ford or a lube shop you trust and have a tranny flush to change out all the fluid.
