Telescoping trailer towing mirrors finally on

I recently added my trailer towing mirrors off an 08 model to my 06 model, big thanks to Labman for all the help with the wiring changes.
I have several pics as many of you may or may not be interested in this mod.

They look good.

How do you find them for normal daily driving? Do they stick out further than the stock mirror? Does the convex mirror get in the way?

I have the slide on tow mirrors already, but if these are a better option, then it might be something to look at this spring.

Gotta have something to keep the guys entertained on poker night.

No way its a huge difference, the convex helps you see everything, you can see the rear bumper of a passing car after its almost passed you. Backing up is a big help to, the convex allows you to see the ground on both sides right down to your rear tire. If you look at the third picture from the top you can see the rear tire in the lower mirror.
Main mirror is up higher then stock allowing you to see further back then before
Yes they stick out further then before, I have only had them on 2 days so I have yet to try my way in a drive thru or a bank.
