The vibrations out there cause the mounting method to fail all the time. I would overheat, the fans would go out, I keep warping my exhaust manifold due to overheating and it causes very loud exhaust ticks, VERY ANNOYING.

My Expy was a street truck, it never went off-road.
I had problems with the steel rod inserts, they wore a small home in my rad. But the nylon ones were fine for me.
The temp gauge would go right up to the red zone, so I'd back off and crawl until the temps dropped.
