You don't even want to know why he got $152.

Just be glad you only got $72, ok?

You have no idea how good they rock. They just had their Christmas party last weekend. They rented the entire Hemisfair complex in downtown SA. The big band was Chicago with other smaller known bands playing in other parts of the center. The entire center was filled with food you can't imagine and LOTS of it. I would guess they spent close to $1,000,000 on it. My cousin retired from there a year or so ago and they always go. There was an estimated 150,000 attendees. Last year Foreigner played. Now you know why your insurance is so high.

Mine is applied directly to my insurance premiums. $64.56 here. Not that much but heck, it's something!

4 cars and 3 of those have full coverage, 3 drivers, two of those being my wife and teenage daughter. Does that answer your question?

What is this dividend check? I just started with USAA this year. My truck loan and insurance is through them, and they have shown me some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time.

But I just want to make sure I am not missing out on this dividend thing. Thanks guys.

I used to have them. The dividend check is usually a percentage of how much you paid over the year. Fewer claims and control on how much the claims were means reduced premiums, or a refund check from USAA. If someone else got a bigger check, it just means they paid more through the year. USAA customer service does in fact rock.

Guess I better check the mail for mine! Jimc they refund a percentage of your annual premiums paid. It usually runs anywhere between 5 to 10 percent. They are by far the best insurance company out there.

Which is why these posts about 'how come you got $600 and I only got $12' are so funny.

Yes, but interesting.

I have 3 cars, mortgage, house insurance, checking accounts, retirement funds, and only 1 claim in 10 years and I got $13.00 which was applied to my USAA mutual fund. I lost that yesterday in the market. NOW, WTF is up with that?

Yes hmfic, but your auto insurance premiums are probably still lower than a 16 year old male with his first truck that's a SuperCrew HD edition.

Sounds a lot like people that have extra withholding sent to the IRS so they can get a refund when they file the tax return.
