I hear you

The stock leaf springs bewildered me too. I finished beefing it up myself this past month. It still has enough zip so I'm satisfied for now. I have a 5T hydraulic dump trailer which helps with everything I do. I'd be lost without it.

Every time I get a new truck I like to think I can keep it clean and pristine longer than my last. You know? I don't seek out dents on purpose.they just find me, ha and after the first dent, its kind of par for the course after that. I think my truck was only 3 days old this time when I got the passenger mirror ripped off, ha. (my son had no idea it had such a tight turning radius, ha)

I must say that when it came to tires I have always been a BFG All terrian guy. 7-8 sets later I opted for Pro comp. This last set of BFG's - I got 2 flats at the dump (could just be bad luck) but I had a blowout on the interstate the other night (which scared the jit out of me) I could put my fist through the sidewall, there was no apparent contact with garb from the road and my tire pressure is always right. My buddy that runs a Mechanic fleet shop said they changed this year due to so many probs with the BFG's (subbing out to China?) whatever the reason their quality control and attempts at keeping long term customers suck now a days and I'm done.

I hear you about the next time "a 3/4 or 1 ton"..........but after 25 years I would like to slow down and pace myself through my later years (my "hay" day was yesterady not tomorrow)...............Fish more I say!, ha
Call me whatever you like, just calll me loud and clear on payday!
Cheers, Scott
