St. Thomas Drag Way in Sparta-Ontario BBQ meet
Hello everyone,
We will have a BBQ meet on
Saturday Sept 15/07 at
Location: St. Thomas Drag Way in Sparta Ontario as part of GTAMC Drag Day
Schedule: Gates open at 10:00 AM, Time trials start at 11:00 AM, Grudges will start after lunch some time. The whole shooting match will be over by 4:00 PM.
Thought I would throw this out there as a spectator event for the truck guys

You know I'll be there but I'm just gonna watch this time, don't feel like going home with bruises on my *** from getting spanked all day by Smoke and the other Lightning boys. I think the plan is to meet at the Timmies just off the Wellington Rd exit at about 9:30 AM.

GTAMC usually have this at TMP. It's been a few season since I've been to one of these gatherings though. Heard St Thomas has cleaned up the track some. Again, it's been a couple of years since I've been there as well. They redid the return lane, or so I heard.
Either way, I can't make it, but the weather looks like it's going to be good for this event. Enjoy.

Was kinda chilly at first, but once the sun came out it was not bad.
Maybe next year they'll have a class for us guys with slow trucks, like mine
Matt those sausages were great, I belched Sunday morning and could still taste it :P
That supercharged F150 Ext Cab was super quick, woulda spanked the Lightning boys real bad, damn thing ran 11s all day.

we truck guys are the best bunch especially when the tailgates open up
